Hamilton, the capital of Bermuda, is the quintessential, charming, picture-perfect, meticulously manicured town that visitors love to photograph in abundance. St George has many excellent pubs, restaurants and shops. Local specialities include Bermuda lobster, and shark and fish chowder laced with sherry, peppers and rum. International fare tops the bill at many restaurants, whose chefs hail from a who's-who of world capitals. Don’t fail to sample a few of Bermuda’s most famous dishes as well. "Dark 'n' stormies" are the national drink, a mixture of ginger beer and Gosling's Black Seal Rum. If you visit during one of the festivals, you can see the famous Goombay dancers in their fine costumes.
